There are three Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. Baptism is the first sacrament celebrated in the process of becoming a full member of the Church community. If you would like to have your child baptized, visit our Baptismal Preparation page, or call the office at 304-737-0429.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is one of the most unique and beautiful aspects of Catholicism. Jesus Christ, in His abundant love and mercy, established the Sacrament of Confession, so that we as sinners can obtain forgiveness for our sins and reconcile with God and the Church. The sacrament “washes us clean,” and renews us in Christ. The forgiveness of sins committed after Baptism is conferred by the sacrament of confession, penance, or reconciliation. Please check our Confession schedule.
EUCHARIST
The Holy Eucharist is the sacrament in which Christ the Lord himself is contained, offered, and received, and by which the Church constantly lives and grows. The Eucharistic Sacrifice, the memorial of the death and resurrection of the Lord, in which the sacrifice of the cross is perpetuated over the centuries, is the summit and the source of all Christian worship and life; it signifies and effects the unity of the people of God and achieves the building up of the Body of Christ.
Communion for the Homebound

Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace; it is the sacrament which gives the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply in the divine filiation, incorporate us more firmly into Christ, strengthen our bond with the Church, associate us more closely with her mission, and help us bear witness to the Christian faith in words accompanied by deeds.
